Tara has been working as a bookseller for the last nine years, running her own shop and working at Waterstone’s flagship Piccadilly store, and Lutyens & Rubinstein Bookshop in Notting Hill.

She has a degree in English Literature from the University of York and a Masters in Journalism from the London College of Communication.

She has extensive work experience across the media, with a particular emphasis on the arts, including blue chip companies such as the BBC, the Daily Telegraph, IPC Media and Emap.

She has also worked as a freelance television development researcher working on daytime and entertainment formats for BBC2 and Channel 4.
